The Brighton beauty salon is in the news again after it was reported that a man died from a suspected drug overdose.
The incident happened at a clinic in the area, in Brighton.
It is understood the man, who was a patient at the clinic, overdosed and died in the early hours of Sunday morning.
A postmortem examination was carried out, but the cause of death is still unknown.
Brighton and Hove City Council said it is investigating the death, which was not linked to the Brighton Beauty Salon.
“Brighton City Council will be making a full report on this tragic incident to the coroner, and will liaise with the coroner’s office as they do with any other deaths which may be connected to the clinic,” a spokesperson said.
‘We have to find our way out of this’The Brighton Beauty Clinic was established in 1997 and has since expanded to include a number of private and residential locations across the city.
In the past two years it has had to shut down a number locations because of the high number of drug overdoses and deaths in the city and the wider Brighton and Hampshire region.
Earlier this month, Brighton and the Hove Regional Health Board announced that it had begun an investigation into the death.
Police have appealed for anyone who may have information about the incident to contact them on 101.
