There are three basic bases for hair colour: natural, synthetic and synthetic-coated.
Natural bases include the colour of your hair, hair colour and your hair texture, while synthetic bases can include the texture of your hairs.
For example, natural base hair can be red, green or brown, while natural base colour can be grey, brown or brown-tipped.
Synthetic bases are made up of colour added after your hair has been treated with chemicals.
For instance, a natural base is made up from natural brown, grey and blue hair colours.
If you’re applying your hair to a comb, a base made up mostly of natural brown and grey tones will work best for your hair and hair colour.
If using a comb with a gel, try adding a base that’s mainly of natural grey or natural blue, and then adding a couple of shades of green, such as grey-green.
The base colour you choose should also be good for the hair, as it’ll help to prevent frizz and make your hair shine.
If the colour you’re using is not natural, you can try using a natural brown or grey base.
You’ll also want to try and apply your base in a way that will blend with your hair’s natural texture.
