I had a couple of friends ask me if I would like to try to work with them as a guest blogger for the beauty salon I’m part of.
It’s been quite the challenge and I’ve been lucky to work so far.
I have a lot of really cool clients and I think it’s a great opportunity to show my readers and potential readers my love of beauty.
There are a few challenges in this new venture though, as I’ve only been a guest editor at one salon and I have to get my head around the social media channels and what to do with my posts.
I started by trying to be as inclusive as I can be in my posts with the same hashtags I usually use.
I used to use @beautyandlara to tweet out my photos from my visits to the salon, but that has been completely out of date and I want to try a more inclusive approach.
For example, I will use a hashtag that I think will help my readers find me, so it’s not the #bostonboulevard hashtag I was using for the previous Instagram posts.
The hashtag is #broniebeyondthebreakfast for a breakfast treat that I recently made.
I think the #beautyboulettescenes hashtag is a good example for people to find me when they want to.
The hashtag I’m using now is #beautyscenes and the reason I’ve chosen to use it is because I want people to see me as a blogger.
I’ve tried to be very inclusive and open with my content and posts, but I know that if people have questions about how I approach blogging or how I handle certain topics, they will be able to get some answers from me.
I am working with my personal assistant, Lauren, to create a more curated schedule for my social media.
This is going to help me plan my posts and the way I’ll present them so that my followers and potential customers know exactly what I’ll be sharing and what I’m doing for them.
It will be nice to have a consistent schedule, so that I can update it on a regular basis.
For example, if there’s a new photo I’m posting, I’ll post a new post each day.
There are some other challenges that I’m struggling with, like finding ways to share photos that are not in my Instagram account.
Theres a reason that the Instagram account was created for me to create photos that were meant for Instagram, so I am not using any of the Instagrams photos that I would normally post.
My favorite part about working with these bloggers is that I get to work alongside the people who are passionate about beauty and are excited to share their beauty tips and tricks.
I find it really inspiring and inspiring that I will be working with people who I admire so much and who have such a passion for their profession.
I’m also working with a few different Instagrammers, so my Instagram has a lot more people than I had planned.
As I have already said, I’m excited to have these bloggers and beauty professionals to share my experiences and advice with.
I love working with them, and they are so excited to see my beauty journey.
I hope to see you at my new salon soon!
